Celebrate July 4th in Arnold Mills
Come celebrate Independence Day with us! Begun in 1927, the Arnold Mills parade, in Cumberland, RI, continues to be a family tradition.
This year's celebration takes place on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
ATTENTION CUMBERLAND RESIDENTS! ALERT! ALERT!
One of Cumberland's longest and proudest traditions NEEDS your support.
The Arnold's Mill July 4th Parade is in desperate need of funding in order to continue our proud tradition of 87 years! It will cost approximately $30,000 this year to operate the parade! 100% of the proceeds are used to secure Bands, Floats, Liability Insurance and necessities. NO TAX MONEY is used to support YOUR PARADE! All Committee Members are unpaid Volunteers who proudly serve to keep Cumberland's Independence Parade INDEPENDENT!!
This year we would like hold a Town Wide Yard Sale; Saturday, June 1, 2013, beginning at 9 a.m. with all proceeds going towards funding the Arnold Mills July 4th Parade. Please call Kathy Dennen, 401-333-0567 or cell 401-440-0225 for details
