The Arnold Mills 4 Mile Road Race began in 1969 when twenty-seven contestants began and finished the first race organized and sponsored by members of the Arnold Mills Parade Association. Today, hundreds compete for the prizes given annually in the holiday race. There are handicapped entrants and children as well as adults of all ages.
