Announcing 2019’s Grand Marshal

The Arnold Mills Parade Association announced recently that Tom Kenwood will be the Grand Marshal for the 2019 Arnold Mills July 4th Parade. Tom was the Race Director for the Arnold Mills Road Race for 40 years before retiring in 2018.

The Valley Breeze has more:

Thomas Kenwood, longtime road race chairman of the Arnold Mills Parade Association, will be grand marshal of its 2019 parade.

Kenwood, the former Cumberland High School indoor and outdoor track coach who still volunteers at the school, will lead the 93rd edition of the parade, a Fourth of July tradition since 1964.

“Tom is a great person to honor this year. He has organized road races for many organizations over the years. He still volunteers at Cumberland High School with its young men and women who hope to further their abilities in athletics, said Joyce Hindle Koutsogiane, chairwoman of the parade. “We are pleased to finally give him the recognition that he truly deserves.”
